I came from a 240sx that had a very tiny t25 and virtually no turbo lag even running 14psi (a lot for that turbo) and when I first drove my VIII before I bought it I thought it was just as fast as my 240sx even though it had a TBE and mbc, but no tune at the time. The day before I picked up the car I was getting on the highway and the guy that owned the Evo got on the highway just behind me and stuck on my tail all the way down the on ramp, but when we actually got on the highway I was still going full throttle at 14psi in my 240sx and he blew by me like it was nothing! So i guess I'm saying that the Evo had an even smoother feel to me than my 240sx, but it did have very aggressive coilovers on it too.

probably cause mivec makes the power more smoother and usable

feel means nothing. if you want to feel fast put blown out shocks on your car and feel that baby rock back. you will feel like your pushing 1000whp.

I am sure most people on here will completely disagree with you on all 3 of the above statements. Me being one of them.

That's ok, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I wasn't looking for anyone to back me up. Nobody can tell someone that their feelings are off or abnormal. I was making a statement that I felt the 8 was more responsive.

I like the 9, I think it is a great car, wasn't for me though.

Weird when I test drove my 9 the first thing I thought is, "wow this has such better low-end than my Evo 8 ever had". The MIVEC on the IX makes the low-end so much more useable.
