front lip carwash?

i am planning on buying one for my evo viii but i work at a carwash, therefore i get free carwashes and it looks like i might not be able to go in if i get one cause of the add lip being to low. has anyone ever been through a carwash with one?

I worked at a car wash a long time ago and I use to run my Evo thru the carwash all the time. But that was with stock springs and rims.

Nope....... mine can't make it through the car wash, even on stock height.... i've been turn away all the time because its too low.....

haha well i am in michigan lol the weather right now is ice and snow mix... i dont htink handwashing would be a good idea hahah

Car wash...huh? I just park my car outside over night if I know it's going to rain. Just kidding....sort of (at least in my old car that had to travel on a gravel road )

i have a do luck lip on stock springs and it clears the kind that has guided rails

when i was at stock ride height i did it once or twice just to get the heavy off
but now being slammed there is no way i could make it...

hmm yeah i am still on stock ride height so maybe it will work it would just be a bummer if i didnt atleast for the winter, its a good way to get all the salt off

so why not keep the stock lip on it for winter?
then when spring comes put the new one on?

Dude listen to me I use drive corvettes that were stock height thru a car wash with guided rails. U won't have to worry unless ur slammed or have wide tires.

good point never really though about that nor did i know that it was that it could be taken off like that. thanks

it can be changed within the matter of about ten minutes
its about 10 screws or so
