thanks guy. helped alot. i would love to buy private but my price range is 21k or less. i know its low but its what i can afford and i can only finance. :[ so im having my mechanic check out the evo tomorrow but i most likely wont buy it now.

At 37 k miles with a stiff clutch pedal there's a good chance the car has already had the clutch replaced with something other than OE. Alot of new Evo owners burn the OE clutch out quickly - especially if they don't have alot of experience.

We should talk, there are two cars in the motor city within your price range, just depends on your finance limits.

u might wanna find out if that RS is still under warranty.
