I don't know if it's the cold weather in chicago or what, but today when i stuck my key into the door, it won't turn to unlock. then i tried the passenger side door and it worked. and i can unlock my driver's side door from the inside no problem.

anyone else experienced this? i have an RS, so no central locking.

did it rain recently or get wet somehow? The lock on my old Lancer used to do this whenever it would get wet. It would rain, the lock would suck. I would wash it, the lock would suck. It would only last a couple days and then be back to normal but it was pretty annoying. Usually I could just wiggle the key a few times and that would do the trick

it rained and snowed. maybe a bit of water got in and froze? i tried wiggling the key which would usually make it turn, but this time no matter how much i tried, nothing worked. it was just stuck for real.

hmm. sounds really similar to what would happen with mine. I looked like an idiot many a time trying to unlock my door for like 30 seconds. some times i'd get so frustrated i would go open the passenger door and just hit the button to unlock the drivers side door. it sucks, but I never really figured out a way to fix it. it would just go away until it got wet again.
