what a scum bag...sorry to hear than man. if i were you, and i liked the badge being there, get another one. the way i see it this a**hole already has a badge and doesnt need another one. the odds of it happening again are slim. unless of course the case is that you have an enemy that did it just to **** you off. use your judgement.

What a jerk. Sorry hear about that. I know how you feel, someone stole the blind spot mirrors off my 300zx a few months ago and bent the rear wiper unit. it looked like they were trying to take it but couldn't.
I'd say just replace it. I like the MR badges.

I would just replace it if you like the way it looks, I have an Mr also and they keyed the front fender the same night I baught it. Its envy that gets these loser, he could afford the MR so he stole your emblem to put on his car. Replace it or take all the emblems off, either way you know what you drive. The emblems in the back are so the losing car can see who kicked his a$$.

Final vent...
Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and empahty (I truly feel for eveyone who has had the car keyed) - it helps take the sting out a bit.
On further reflection, other than the obvious reasons, the thing that pisses me off most is that while I use the car as a daily driver (and that will never change - too much fun), I have kept it in mint condition. My kids aren't allowed to eat or drink in it, I always park far away from other cars (to avoid door dings), my wife doesn't drive stick ('nuff said there), I clean it regularly, change my own oil... All that effort and care goes out the window because some little **** decides he wants an MR badge for his Honda - and figures he'd scratch my paint while he is at it.
I plan on ordering the badge today - let's see how long it lasts - keep you posted (and if it disapears again - I'll go stealth).
