the best jack for the price is the craftsman racing jack for $179 sold at sears. its low profile and lasts. i've been through 3 other racing jacks over the years, and they always break, or leak fluid everywhere.

What are the other points you can raise the car by instead of the sides? Someone said the diff?

Can you use the rear diff and the front jacking plate (assuming the front has a jacking plate)?

confirmed. i use both.
front for oil change
rear for exhaust replacement

Well my side points are toast. I'll have to start using the center points. I'll need a better jack. I still use the OEM one.
