Question about installing evo IX BOV on VIII

Hey guys the only mod I have right now is an AEM SRI. I have an evo ix BOV and I was wondering if it is safe to put that on w/o a boost controller, gauge or tune?

Definitely a bad idea. You should just sell me the IX BOV.

The Evo 9 bov is a nice choice for any Evo 8 no doubt. I have one and it;s working out great.

It'll basically be the same as what you have now. The 9 bov is metal whereas the 8 is plastic. Otherwise they're pretty much the same thing. The 9 holds plenty of boost and IMO is the best option for any 8 or 9.
