You can also get aftermarket seat heaters installed. It really doesn't sound like the Evo would be a good fit for you though.

It just depends on what you want man. Do you want a fun, fast, and raw car? Or do you want a comfortable, slow, cruiser?

I guess you made up your mind, but the evo really is not that hard to drive on a daily basis.

With enough fabrication skills (or money to pay for someone else's skills) all of these items would be very easy to install. How much are you willing to pay is the question? $10,000.00 should do it. On the other hand, the Evo is not the best performing car in the world either. With enough money, the Lexus is250 can be made to out perform even heavily modified Evo's, and it will have all the luxury items already factory installed! So its up to you, personally I'd just go ahead and take the Is250...those cars are so freaking awesome. Makes the Evo interior look like a Kia.

It all depends what you want and how much are you willing to spend after you buy the car. Investing $$$ in a car is pointless unless you use it to make money.
I have seen people invest crazy $$$ into their rides and when the time came to do something really smart with that money, it wasn't there. When people talk about Evos and interior and luxury I can't stand it. The car is not meant to be confortable and quiet. It is an AWD beast that is meant to be driven on rough roads and tough weather conditions. In this case I would say get the Lexus as a DD and Evo as fun, race, weekend or whatever car.

Go with the Lexus, or even an STI...
The power's really not necessary, especially if you desire the finer things in life

Well, you may have me there --- but I couldn't get anyone to activate the feature on my alarm system (since it's a manual), and all my bribes were ineffective!

If I could do it myself, it'd be another story . . .

What kind of alarm do you have? I have a compustar and all they had to do was use an extra key to program it. Manual transmissions have been able to use auto start for some time now.

Most shops wont activate something they did not install because of obvious reasons.

Finer things are life are nice but all a real man needs is raw power roaring from that 4g63

As for the cabin, I think this is as refined and "pretty" as it needs to be. Put in $1300 worth of gauges, $2100 worth of audio equipment, and a $150 shift knob and you'll be set l:
