the back fender is different too, there is a extra piece that sticks out?

It's one of the test mules for the EVO X engine & running gear, taken at Nurburing, thats why the extended wheel arches.

The roof also looks identical to an evo x with those bulges on either side

Why would they put a wolf in sheeps clothes?? Dont you think it would be finished a little better...

Not if they are testing systems. Lived in MI during my hs and college years - seen my share of test cars. They don't care what they look like, only the data they get from it.
