I was trying to lower my windows yesterday too and didn't even notice I had pushed the lock down cleaning my interior . It was a funny sight watching me confused, wondering why my Evo has problems like a German car...oh snap .

Like i said, check your ground immediately to the left of your clutch pedal. it has 4 or 5 grounds under one bolt. For some reason, that is just a bad ground area. reground those wires and try your windows out.

Hey So how do you reground the wires. is there a picture that would direct me to the right place ! .

Power windows dont work all around the car and the Power lock does not work from the driver side but works on the passenger side.

I was playing with the master switch and the fuses today and the power locks did work for a little but not for long - i have no idea what i did !

I realize i am replying to a 5 year old thread > but thats the beauty of the internet!

You check that ground in the driver kick to make sure its tight.

Thanks for your reply, Yes, I will try that first.

after watching this video:

I went to the car and noticed that when opening the door, while in some positions, 3 of the windows work. So, I know that i do have a similar problem where the wire is disconnecting because its torn somewhere or not touching the ground. But i'll try to open up the kick panel before i cut up any wire housing.

I just got the car, and I realized that there seems to have been some body work done on the door because the door does not close comfortably as it should. Thats whats probably causing this.

I'll come back with some pictures or a video soon.

Have a wonderful night,

Good morning, sorry I never came back to add pictures... The answer to my problem was soooo simple. It was just that the wire harness that connects the wiring from the door to the main area below the steering wheel was just loose.

I only realized that after working 3 hours trying to see if any of the wires have a bad or damage spot!!!!

Sorry I never updated this and good luck finding the problem ... Let us know what you find out ...

If you have 1 or 2 that don't work open up your door panel and switch one that works with a bad one. More than likely that is your problem. I just went down to local junk yard and got one out of lancer and haven't had a problem since.
