Found another Evo.. Opinions?
So I am still in search of an Evo. Looking to trade in my SS/SC Cobalt on one. Came across this one earlier today and wanted to see what the Evo guru's thought of it.. If anyone could run a Carfax for me that would be great. Let me know your opinions. I emailed the seller and they sound interested in my car as a trade. I asked for some better quality pictures. I would just go check it out, but thats a good drive from where I am. Just testing waters right now to see if it would be worth the drive. Thank you for any help..
Here it is..

Never a bad idea to take it to a shop and have it looked at if you are close to a purchase. A compression test etc. wouldn't be a bad investment before purchasing. I wish I would have done this before buying mine, I have had to spend a lot of money to undo the previous owners mistakes.

Good luck with the purchase, not trying to jack your thread. You've gotta take a look at this, epic fail!!

Could be a few different reasons, for example mine came on a few months back 'cause of some faulty wiring in the car's alarm system, what's funny is I had the alarm installed right after purchasing the car and the light came on some 3 years later, the dealership here actually fixed that for me under waranty which was surprising. Call and ask or if you can like some others have mentioned take it to a shop and check it out.
