Carbon Fiber Hood/Trunk Q
Has any one seen or know where I can find a silver carbon fiber hood and trunk? Not the regular CF that is just painted over but actual silver carbon fiber. Ive seen it for a few other type of cars like eclipse and civic. I figured I'd try to go a little stealthy and have the silver to blend in with my Apexi Silver Evo.... I am getting the rust spot under my spoiler and I hear that I have little change of it being corrected under warranty.

It's going to look weird, most people have never seen silver carbon fiber. 97% of the people will think you just got into a accident and the auto shop you took it to sucked at matching the color.

yeah i think it would look great as long as you had all the rest of the cf goodies to match, lip, side skirts, rear diffuser, etc. man if hks mde a silver carbon-ti. MMmmmmm.

Illstreet carries them. They're not listed on their site, carbonfiberhoods.net but they do sell silver carbon fiber hoods and trunks. The number is 864 316 9939

What you are calling "silver carbon fiber" is in-fact called Hexcel Texalium Fiberglass Cloth.
It is mainly used for cosmetic reason and is slightly heavier than standard fiberglass cloth. Hexcel also produces, red, blue, gold, black, etc colours of this same cloth.
