Mailman hitting my car update - I jsut got a $1,600 check in the mail from the Federal Government.

CONSIDER MYSELF REMEDIED!!

 

niiiice, is it enough to cover the damages?

btw, i forgot to update the thread with my repairs.
Car was all fixed up nice and pretty, then about 2 weeks goes by, the screen mesh infront of the intercooler was kicked in by some punk in a parking garage while i was out in downtown chicago.
Then a week after that, my car was backed into again, same as before, not as bad though, hit and run again... Headlights, hood and fenders are fine, only the front bumper was scuffed up. Im not even going to bother getting it fixed up again, till i have another car to DD, and the evo can sit safe and sound in my garage during the week.

 

^^^ geez...that's way too much sh*t to deal with...

 

My buddy wrecked my Evo last winter, trying to do a burn out at a 3 way stop (just launched straight), which i can laugh at now but back then..ANGER.


I didn't even think to tell the body shop about my headlights and they ordered a usdm one then called me like. "This doesn't match at all."
Then Liberty Mutual was like even though we shouldn't, we'll cover this headlight just this time, only because the shop found a replacement.
