Well it just got done putting down about 2-4 inches of sleet and freezing rain and then another 3-5 inches of snow here over the past two days. This is the first winter weather since I have had the evo it really impressed my wife.

I didn’t go out and play as much as I wanted but I got out and about both days. It was nice seeing people looking at the little car that could get every where better than they could. The only problem I had was “pot” holes in the ice in some parking lots and roads. Deep enough to reach the undercarriage on stock height. Other than that I love being out in my car. I could have stayed out and played for hours but I had my wife and son with me, and I don’t want to do a lot with them in the car.

good thing I dont have a wife and kid....that would devestate me. That's what we got was 5 inches of snow, followed by a whole night of freezing rain that compressed everything to just a few inches of ice, then another 5 inches this morning.....

My entire FMIC is covere up to the headlights with compaced slush, so a few times I'll get out and clear it off, but as soon as I started driving on the roads aggain, that little sucker gets filled back up.

I do occasionally to initiate one, depending on the circumstances. but if you're just out in an open parking lot with endless room, you never need the e brake.

awd is so neat!!!!

I need some snow tires so bad. I've been stuck with these falken azenis 615's. They are the worst tires in the snow I've ever seen. I've been garaging the evo unless the snow is melted.

I sold my old daily driver for some winter tire money. I'm gonna order some new tires and wheels up in a couple of weeks.

Anyone use hankook ice bears? That's what I'll probably go with. If so 225/50 or 235/45?

I actually saw an Evo in the ditch today. It was snowing and raining pretty hard. I slowed down and looked at the evo. I noticed it had falken azenis tires on it. I thought to myself "Why did you try to drive it in this with those tires?".
