Alright. Update time! so, they are fixing my fender, got a new muffler, replaced the rotor, wheel, i got a new tire, wheel studs and lugnuts (obviosly), and a new OEM bumber. on top of all this, the insurance guy is giving me all together about $600 cash as a car rental fee! so, it looks like everything is going to be alright. i'm getting my car back in 2 or 3 days, (barring another disater!), and i'm good for autocross. Again, thanks everyone for your words of support during this trying time

Wow sorry to hear. I'm glad the shop/insurance took responsibility for their faults.

What I don't get is how could this guy be so damn incompetent. Does he only work on trucks or something? Perhaps he is a hater and doesn't like foreign cars. Glad to hear that you are being compensated.

that sucks, at least they comped you on everything, this is why I AVOID commercial shops that do many cars per day, and go to the specialists...for everything!

good to see they took full responsibility without hassle. Don't know how they couldn't lol. But that fat bastard should be nowhere near cars, how could he get that job? Had to be his first day, no hour on the job and working on cars.
