I agree^^ I like being able to wake up and drive her, not go out and have it on stands too much crap can and will happen...... IF you want to launch get enough money to have a track evo that you could live with seeing in the shop quite a bit and have your dd evo thats what im planning on

I'm with you. I think I was a better driver (fast driving...) when I was an idiot in high school. I'm 26 now and don't have any money right now for new parts like a clutch or a ticket. There used to be a 1/4 mile here when I was in HS and I went once and it was a learning experience, even though I had an 03 Sunfire It closed and street racing just isn't in me anymore, more so since my 15 miles route to work is filled with cops everyday.

The car was designed to be launched, common we don't own GTR's here with faulty trannys. Learn to do it right and have some fun, I went 36k miles on the stock clutch and only swapped it because I wanted a better feel not because it was slipping. Ive had many passes down the track and at the occasional red light and never broken a thing.
But then again I know a kid in high school that ****ed his transfer case because he can't drive. So if your that afraid then I guess it's best you just don't attempt it.

I've attempted 1 @ 3k rpm. Bogged horribly while the vette spun like crazy. In the end, he gripped just as my boost kicked in and we ended up even. Never had the ***** to try it again. Later did i learn that 5,500 is a better launching point!

Just be sure not to run over snow covered sidewalks, like me!
I broke my ball joint on the passenger side it was ROFL!!!
If you guys are launching make sure your slipping the clutch.
Slipping the clutch= Good
dumping the clutch= Bad
