You can try plastic polish, but I will bet you the damage is permanent. The acetone in the remover will dissolve plastic. Just ask your GF, that's how they remove acrylic nails by soaking them in acetone. Look at it this way, good excuse for a CF gauge overlay when you replace the plastic

+1 for the plastic polish. This is stuff typically used on plastic rear windows for convertibles and such, one brand I have used is Plexus but it may not be aggressive enough for hard plastic like you are trying to polish. Marine stores have it, some auto parts stores carry it too. I know 3M makes something called "plastic polish" that works really well for things like this.

can you please share with my why you used acetone to clean your gauges, even so fro overspray, any nail polish remover will ruin a clear peice of plastic.

You can fix this but it will be difficult for sure. You need a quality polishing compound like Menzerna and a buffer. preferably a wool pad followed by a less aggressive polishing compound and a white or blue foam pad. This will work however it will be very difficult to manuver the buffer. Best of luck. The only other thing you might try first would be a headlight polishing compound and attach a modified pad to a dremel. Then get after it!!
