It's not 7k a seat. Which leads me to believe that you're bullcrapping about your insurance only giving you 500 per seat. Which leads me to believe that you probably dont even have insurance. Good luck!

Mine were stolen last week and Progressive was getting ready to pay a $12,000.00 tab. After looking around at options I decided to save them some money and settle for some brand new all-leather Recaro sports for $1,300.00 each.
In return they waived my deductible, including fixing the internal scratched panels and the broken window and they're happy to do so and pay only a $ 4,261.27 tab rather than the $ 12,000.00 which it books as.
You need to call then up and talk to a manager. And then after you get made whole, you need to get a non-flybynight insurer.

Recaro seats are very expensive you should see if you can get the insurance to understand that.

And you can find a pair of 8 seats, even 9 seats on this board for about 1K or less for the 8's. You just gotta look around. And don't let your insurance company BS you. GL

I always do that, you would think with the seat name spelled out on the seat that I would remember what it says. Better yet you should go find the recaro's that are in the evo SE, those are very nice...

I'd take the opportunity to pick up some aftermarket seats. But there are always people selling seats on the web.
It's actually a good thing the insurance company thinks your seats are only $500/each. If they thought they were $7k like they are, you would prolly have a total loss and they would have taken your car. I have seen it before. 14k in seats plus whatever damage they did to get in and whatever they did to your interior.
