how do you put an se lip (o6 IX) on a (05 VIII)?? or do you mean a se style lip for an VIII ? anyways, dealership has oem lips!! pre-painted in all colors. i had to replace mine already, cost was like 285.00 took two days from day i ordered it

 

so you bought a brand new silver se lip from the dealer for 285?

 

uh yeah are you running a 9 front bumper? if not an se lip wont work with an 8 bumper being that you have an VIII

 

yeah way over priced

the only thing they sell way over priced is the SE lip.. my gf got me from an X Vendor on here unpainted.. And I got it painted cheap at Mitsubishi

 

yea, i scratched mine up this summer (road construction sucks!) i don't like like that rallieart spoiler or the black look on silver, i mean whole car is silver with front lip black?? IMHO call mitsu and check it out another thing is from what i saw that rallie art lip has sharper (smaller) radius's than stock, not much but not a perfect fit like oem, i can't believe the price on the real rallieart lip!! you could buy a IX whole front bumper cover for that price, almost

 

honestly bro not really, about a week later it started to get that fogged up look on one side of it, which i thought WOW i just paid i think 400 or so dollars. as for that SE lip might have a problem getting it considering i dont know of any good paint shops

 

guys i already been through this, check out my previous threads. i've been had a 9 front on my VIII. i now consider it to be a VIII.5 lol

 

sorry, i should'nt have butted in i just wanted to pass on the fact that if you want stock look and color matching se lip mitsu dealer for less than 300 no painting required!

i would have posted sooner but i had to wipe all the blood off after that beating, so your telling me that the se lip that i ordered thursday from mitsu in libertyville il (they suck would never go near the place except for nesesity parts) , so when i pick it up this week, even though the guy told me i can get it AS its going to be white?? sorry for any mis info, ishould have just waited until i picked it up

yeah man they don't come prepainted anymore. Dealer gave you wrong info.
