So my dad went to evo...
And there were 4 evos.
2 red, 1 black, 1 silver.
He took a look at the silver one, which had more options compare to the other three. The sticker price was at $33,000.
Extra options were (i think) shift knob, some sun visor?...gauges?..
Anyways, Mitsu said my car's worth $9,000 (trade in).
I told my dad that the evo's MSRP pice is near $29,000. My dad said $27,000 to the sales person, which the sales person AGREED ON IT . I was amazed, BUT
The manager said no Lol.
So anyways, i soubt i'll be lookin forward to the Evo anytime soon, unless we find another dealer that's selling one for around 28-29,000 MSRP. The manager said, He could do 28,000 on the other 3 Evo's on the lot but not the silver one with extra "stuff" on it...
I'm wondering, What exactly are the "extra stuff" that boosts the pricing up soooo much?...I mean shift knobs and gauges are cheap...??? any clue?...
Did you get "extra options" in your evo?...

I've got 9 extra options for MSRP. These are aluminum instrument cluster, cf parking brake handle, hyper ground cables, door sills, front and rear strut tower brace, sports meter kit, brake cooling guides and wheel locks. They're all great to have and worth it for having the first Evo here in U.S.

You should just get one for $28,000 and get the "extras" on aftermarket. The reason it boosts the price so much is dealer install prices to hell, and anything from the dealer is expensive.

Yeah your dad is smart its close to end of month and dealers are trying to rid themselves of '03s to make room for '04s. Go elsewhere you can knock off 3k of msrp in some places and thats what you really want.
