Question Evolution IX headlight Question

What makes the Evo IX headlight projector blue?

No other car, including past evos, have had this blue projector in them.

it has to do with the heat range of the bulb

as the numbers increase they go from white/blue/purple

There is a special way to paint the actual projector a specific color. I have seen a thread by Evodave regarding this topic. He can modify your projector to almost any color you want!

So why is it that no other manufacturer and even Mitsubishi has ceased production of such projectors?

^What do you mean they have ceased production? There are plenty of cars I have seen with a bluish projector. Is this some sort of new law?

Well whenever I see a car with projectors the projector always appears darker than the reflector housing. In the Evo IX's case, the projector is a very light blueish color and the reflector housing appears darker ...it gives the IX a lot of presence and makes it look almost alive.

9 is a blueish color. Some 05's had it as well. I have a set here.
