Autometer/AEM Gauge fitment issue

Has anyone had any fitment issues with using AEM gauges in an autometer gauge holder? Both of the Autometer gauge holders I have will have to be filed down in order to fit the AEM gauges. Just curious if other have had the same issue.

I filed mine down slightly

it's molded plastic they are never perfect...you kind of have to expect them to be close at best...I am sure some people they are a wee bit loose and some fit like a glove

Thanks guys, just filed mine down a bit with a rounded bastard file and it looks great now. My only lingering issue is I was thinking about using the AEM pressure sensor on the stock boost line that went to the MR gauges. Is the stock line piped into a good location? I will be using ECU-controlled boost. Thanks again!

No thoughts on this? I haven't seen a thread covering this on the forum...although I am sure it is mentioned somewhere.

Got to bring this one back to life as now I am getting a poor boost reading. My JDM 3-bar MAP works fine and reads pressure correctly, but I am getting a wild reading on my boost gauge. At idle it is -16/-18 and when using the stock rev limiter I am reading about +2/+3 which doesn't seem right to me. Anyone have issues with using the stock vacuum line for the MR gauges? I am going to log some more to see if I can figure this out but would like to hear your thoughts.

Yes. I finished doing some logging though and at mid/WOT boost is right where it should be. Just need to do a bit more research.
