Battery and brake idiot lights flicker on and off

Hey all, this is my first problem encounter from my car. The dash hand brake and battery idiot lights flicker on and off seems like something is loose. Seems to happen when the road is bumpy. It happens in the same time. Car runs fine... The voltage gauge reads fine, doesn't spike, usually holds at around 14.5v, just kinda annoying seeing the lights flicker.
Any ideas what the cause may be??

Thanks

Or Alternator is about to take a dump if it does it in dry conditions. Keep an eye on the connections to the alternator. I lost oil and it sprayed on my alternator (had to get a new one) then detailer sprayed engine detail stuff all over the alternator (another purchase LOL) But the only sign I knew my alternator was going out, was the signs you posted above. Good luck.

my car did this for a year it was the Alternator. the voltage readings were good but the idiot lights would come on dim at idle and go off when the engine revs were above 2000 rpm. once i changed the Alternator it stopped.

you can rebuild them yourslef for $75 or trade yours in at the auto parts store and pay around $150, roughly.

I've never needed one for the evo but thats a little more than I've paid for any other mitsu alternators. I also live on amish ville where they rebuild them all for cheap.

Also you advanced auto parts and equivalents will test it for free if you bring it in.

I just went through this with my 90 eclipse gsx they would flicker anything under 2000 RPMS and one day I hit a big puddle and the water smoked my alternator. through a new one in and havnt had a problem since. I would say take it out and bring it to a parts store for testing. the alternator test that they do with it in the car tends to be wrong, I worked for advanced auto for a year and had tested alternators in cars and have them pass then die a couple days later. Good luck!!!
