Don't forget that the plant builds EVO's for the entire world, not just the US. So, you can have the 8666th car build at the plant that was one of the 5000 destined for the US.

What does plant sequence number have to do with build sequence?

This also makes no sense, cause I have a build date of january and delivered in march... Now i am sure we can find people with smaller build numbers with later dates... this number is not in any sequence of when it was built.. There is no way
built almost 9000 cars before they started shipping.The same holds true for Integra Type R's the vin #'s have nothing to do as to when the car was built or which #ITR it is...

I had an Apex Silver Evo 8 that I traded in in Schaumburg, IL around the second week of August that had a VIN# ending in 28 as well....did your car have a Blitz FATT in the glove box and REALLY dark window tint? Dude...you might have my old car.
