gauge placement

I want to get a wideband o2 sensor and gauge, and I'm having a hard time finding a spot to put the gauge. I want it in an area thats easy to see, but I dont REALLY want to have the a-pillar gauge pod. My boost gauge is on the steering column, and I dont want to put another gauge up there. So where do you guys put all your gauges?

how many gauges do you plan on running? i just purchased the lower console triple gauge pod. its a little cheaper than the upper dash pod in that you don't have to purchase the radio relocation kit. The down side is you can only run 52mm gauges down there (that is the only hole size they make for the lower pod). But my setup will be a single pod on my a-pillar (wideband), 3 in the lower pod (boost, egt, oil pressure) and one fabricated to fit into my ashtray (meth flow).

My personal favorite location. Pic from the old 8 and where I'll be putting them in my IX as well:

I have a Defi boost gauge and an AEM UEGO wideband on my steering column. The only thing they cover is the Lancer gauge and the speedo but only up to 30 MPH.

similar to 19DB794 (Josh, since he did most of my installation) I have my boost and Uego on my colum pod. My gauges are spread out enough that I can see all of my gauges behind them. When I add more I'm going to replace the lower MR pod (since 2 or the three gauges down there are useless to me) and if I ever need more than that (doubtful to need 8 additional gauges) then I will do the rexspeed pod on the dash.

Heres a pic of my set up:

They are a bit more level and sorry the darker one is blurry, I was free handing it no flash in the cold, but you get the idea. I like the set up a lot, and I don't really like the ricer look at all of gauges all over the place.

lol. yeah my boost gauge is on the right side of the steering column covering the "lancer" spot. good ideas guys. i just saw where someone removed that lancer spot and put the wideband in there. I was thinking of doing that.

I was thinking I really only need a wideband and a boost gauge, but I realized I'd probably need an oil pressure gauge as well. its funny how the car has none what-so-ever.

That's the JDM angle.

you really don't need to see the wideband all the time. You could just mount the boost and oil pressure on the steering column and have the wideband in the glove box. I'll probably get an Oil Pressure gauge soon but I need to find a mounting spot for it lol.
