Japanese Spec. EVO 7? Is it better than our 8?
I saw these Jap. Spec. so called "race cars" on e-bay and was wondering the differences and how good they actually are, the prices were reasonable.

They are cool cars, the company that is selling them can't import them, correct me if any new developments have occured. Do a search on "Evolution Imports" and you will have all the info you need to not buy it now.

1) given that they have everything our EIGHT has, and more, they are probably better
2)but, they are illegal here, absent incredible amounts of paper work
3)there is no waranttee coverage
4)safety beams missing

Thanks Guys
Thats cool, I saw a couple on e-bay and was wondering about them. I currently Roadrace and am a Driver's Instructor for the BMW and Porsche Clubs in the IL/WI/MI areas and am thinking about an EVO 8 in the near future, I have always had BMW M3s in the past.

Dun bother bout the JDM's. TOo much hassle to get from what ive read here. Unless youre planning some purely off-road action. Something off-topic here but have you guys ever heard of anyone illegally importing lets say the new NSX-R and swapping plates, vin, engine nos from a current nsx in the states? When i was in another country dont want to mention where, they were doing that freely. Iam strictly not encoruaging such highly illegal behaviour but just wondering whether such things happen in the states?
