How Do I Start Quicker?

Hey guys i've been wondering....how should i "launch" the car if i am doing a 0-60? I've read about techniques where you rev the engine and then drop the clutch but i'm not sure if this is the right way to do it or not. Is there a better more effective way to get moving quickly? Futhermore, i would appreciate any tips on how to improve a 0-60 time. examples: how to shift quicker and at what rpm to shift.

Any advice is really appreciated! thanks guys!

ps. can someone please give me the best description of "slipping the clutch"? What exactly does that mean? details please!!!!

thank you!

k its pretty simple push in the clutch put car in fisrt floor the gas and it should bounce off a secondary rv limiter around 5-6k then SLIP the clutch and the car will launch nicely... do not drop the clutch just take your foot off the clutch nicely and it will grab then go!!!

haha yeah its gonna smell like clutch for a few days but if you do it right you get a pretty decent amount of launches outta the stocker but it wont launch as good as an aftermarket
