9sec9 you know I am a fan of your work and I know indy knows his **** but from looking at the color of that manifold it was taken off before so I have to question how many parts on that car are ported. We now know that a 100% stock looking car can run 9's and you two are part of the crew that have already done it.

RevMoto, I have any $ figure on the bet that says it's 100% stock except for the mbc, filter and tune. Not even an O2 housing is on it yet. Not even a road pipe. Nothing. This, I can say very confidently and with personal knowledge.

I've actually tried to get him to change the O2 and cat, but he's insistent on doing it with minimal parts and changes. It took forever to get him to agree to letting me add the mbc and filter. Only by convincing him that the logs said a new filter was 'required' did he finally give in. I can assure you that nothing else has been done.

Wow, amazing.

What could I get with a ETS air intake, 3" downpipe and full catless exhaust, 02 housing, 3" intercooler + piping, and MBC.

I would love to hit mid to high 11's, if not better.

I wish I lived closer by yous so you could perhaps help me out

No need for insinuations in this thread. There's nobody on this board more straightforward and honest about their accomplishments than Indy and 9sec9. If they say it, it's gospel. If there's free money to be made on that bet, show me the line. I'm already reaching for my wallet

Nice work for sure.

Seems bizarre that a guy who designs and builds performance parts would want a completely stock car, and be resistant to mods. It's like a vegetarian butcher

I couldn't sleep at night knowing my car was being stifled by the restrictive factory exhaust and intake.

9sec9 and I wanted to base this build around the idea that you don't need to spend a fortune to go fast. The goal is to run a 11.50 ET with the minium anount of mods and dollars. We have tuned our way from a 12.99 to a 12.22 in twelve passes at a cost of under 150.00 for the parts used. Only after the car breaks into the 11's will we move on to the next mod. Thanks, Indy and 9sec9

Thanks, instead of throwing parts at a project and getting average or less than average results we are getting everything out of the parts we use and at this point in the build, the stock exhaust has not been an issue as our results have shown .

I believe Buschur sells the Vibrant filter kits.

Yesterday we tested the Perrin, it was better by a very slight margin and will stay on the car for now.
