ok guys my car shut down yesterday while driving, open the hood the negative battery terminal melted away? i left it parked went back 5 hours later with a new mini battery and jumper cables. i installed, had power at first but it wouldn't roller and then i lost all power again
so i hooked up the jumper cables to another evo connected to my battery and nothing, i looked over at the other evo and i notice his - terminal was glowing orange not to mention the jumper cables where starting to smoke! i unhooked everything cause i didn't want to mess his car up. i then went to go unhook the battery in my car, and the battery it self was way HOT to touch!

any info at all guys would be a big help thanks

 

Start checking all the big cables under the hood like the cable to the starter. You have a big dead short.

 

I have a spare set of wires and a starter if you need them.. pm me if you do.. Good luck with this..

Cool just let me know..Would definitly not jump to it right away.. just go back and see what you can find out first.. Got to solve the problem before it reoccurs....

 

have a really bad short circuit somewhere..
