I had the Mechanical Prosport gauge in my car til last week and i switched it to the Prosport Digital Boost Gauge.
The Mech one I had worked perfectly from day one.
Tuned @ 30 psi and it was dead on to my JDM map sensor.
I also like the dual color feature with white/amber glow.

Only reason why I switched was because with the New RED turbo on the car now, I needed something that would go over 30.
The new digital boost gauge goes from -14 vac. to +45 psi.
So I decided to give the Digital one a try.
Hooked it up, took car for a drive, and Bam, 30psi dead on with JDM map sensor.

Only thing I would change is the lighting color, and maybe a little more vac range.
-14 is ok, but -20 or -30 would be great.

The Digital series numbers only come in Blue led.
It would be nice to have the dual colors like the other Mech. Gauge with an amber lcd to match the dash gauges.

Other than that I like it alot and works great for me..
I like the led's around the outside as it matches my innovate XD16 WB gauge pretty well.
I Also like the black face when turned off..

just my .02...
thx Prosport for being a stand up company..

Seems like most people have good luck with the Prosport gauges but I must have a bad one. Prosport electric boost gauge, love the look of the gauge, even installed a switch so I could change between amber and white lighting ( white was easeir to read sometimes in bright sun). Unfortunatly it never sat at zero, always 3-4 vac., 20-21 vac. at idle, 16 psi peak, on stock IX. My old Autometer gauge which has been in three cars is dead on, 16-17 vac. at idle, 19-20 peak psi. Also had trouble with a oil pressure gauge, would light up and do it's sweep but never could get a reading, think the sensor was bad. Spoke to some one at Prosport and they said it sounded like it was connected right and to send the sensor in, but I never did, this was probably over a year ago. Car is now more modified and I'm still using my big ugly Autometer. I like the Revolution gauges but they are pricey.

I compared a autometer boost and a prosport boost gauge with my map sensor. I used all 3 at the same time. The autometer was 2 psi off. The prosport matched my map sensor perfectly.

Great gauges. I will be ordering me a few for the evo.

I let off when I saw it go that high.

I havnt changed anything on the car since I removed the stewart warner gauges. The only thing I can think of is that my downpipe leaks at the o2 housing and there is a crack in my manifold right now. You guys think this could cause such a high spike?
I'm wondering if you turned it up instead of down (boost controller)

Bought mine used, Premium Boost, Oil Press, and Oil Temp. I have had them in for a year now. Guy before me, not sure, maybe a few months. Never had a problem, great gauges for the money IMO. Would and have reccomended them to all my evo buddies.

I just installed my prosport electronic boost gauge on sunday. It was dead on according to stock specifications. 18 and then tapering off from 6-7k rpm at WOT. Around the same price as an autometer and it looks 100 times better. It's just a shame that their wideband does not log.
