I saw 20mpg once. Now it's impossible cause I have to deliver pizzas in it.

I'm usually around 19-21 with mixed driving. Pure highway I see 23-25 possible. 100% city I can see 16MPG. Otherwise those of you complaining about horrible gas mileage, train your right foot.

Basically I do 65mph on the highway and put it in neutral to coast down hills. Slow acceleration and be mindful of stop lights, stop signs where I'll have to stop....I coast up to them and try to time the light turning to green so I don't have to come to a complete stop. GL!
thats the evo to buy right there..lol well driven sir

Well I'll be doing HPDE's in the car shortly, so hold your breath. But no, I'm not much for going nuts on the street or launching.

My car is new to me. So on the few tanks that I have.

I got 22'ish. intake,exhuast,etc.

A friend of mine - had a mail in tune on his car. Prior to the tune - 22+mpg. After tune = 17-18. After REAL tune = 22 mpg.

Crazy 8's, and lots of boost/fuel is not a tuning solution to more power. All it does is give you some power, and a huge loss in mpg. Try using timing and not using retarded amounts of boost with no timing and gallons of fuel - to make power.

Try for 16-17 deg's on top and not 8. Less boost- less fuel. Same or similar power levels. And decent mpg.

Really I have managed nearly 27 mpg with mostly highway driving. But typically i will get about 20-23 in the city.

Get a Big turbo!!!!!!! My gas mileage has never been better. all that little boosting on the highway you do goes away because of the lag. I get 28mpg on the highway, probly feet per gallon when im on it but who cares at that point. Going big turbo makes your evo faster top end and get better gas mileage down low, whats not too like

when you use the seafoam, spray some in the intake too. that helps. also use Sta-bil next time you store it.
