bad gas mileage

hey guys, have a quick question. I stored my car for the winter this year, about 3 months. Now that I have started using it again, I have been getting horrible gas mileage, like 15-18mpg. I used to get around 20-22mpg before I stored the car. Any suggestions on why this is happening and how to fix it?

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Winter gas is oxygenated (will get lower MPG) run to empty, refill with summer blend.

U can also run a tank of fuel system cleaner such as Seafoam (found at NAPA) or Chevron w/ Techron. GL!

sounds like normal gas millage to me
for the 60k miles i had my evo my lifetime average gas millage is 17mpg. if i run it hard i can get 15mpg and if i never see boost i might get 19mpg. The evo is a sub 200mpg car and all the evo owners i know also get about 15-18mpg on average

Ur lucky if you get 20mpg. After installing the WORKS brainflash it got a bit better but nothing spectacular. Who buys an evo and worries abt gas mileage anyway?

I was stock w/ no mods when I achieve that...now I have freer flowing intake, exhaust & tune, so I'm interested in seeing if it gets better or worse.

Basically I do 65mph on the highway and put it in neutral to coast down hills. Slow acceleration and be mindful of stop lights, stop signs where I'll have to stop....I coast up to them and try to time the light turning to green so I don't have to come to a complete stop. GL!
