newborn & recaro babyseat

i have the recaro como baby seat, says 5-70pounds.. tried to put my 2week old daughter in there to take some pix and she is WAY too small for the seat. The harness practically covers her whole body.. Anybody put there 0-3month old in a reacaro baby seat?

I didn't start puting my daughter in her Recaro, until she was 14mo. You need a rear facing infant seat for the first year.

The Recaro seats do seem to be big so I waited and just got his seat for my boy a few weeks ago. Hes about 3 and 1/2 months now and fits good in it. Im sure he would of been fine in it earlier.

Wel isnt the como and signo the only seat Recaro makes for newborn's and infants. So you didnt have many options. If anything she'll grow into it, real quick lol. Trust me i've already had to buy all new clothes for my boy like 3 times. At this stage they grow daily so she'll fit perfect in no time.

I was thinking about getting one of theese seats now that my daughter is getting a lil to big for her regular car seat. Generally good experiences from this seat, or waist of money?

yea so far no complaints. can be a lil more complicated than most car seats but no major problems. Very snug and comfortable and most import very safe. I dont regret spending a single penny on this seat.
