My daughters are six and the youngest about to turn two. They ride in my Evo a lot and their skeletons, hearing and brain functions are just fine.

Glad to hear it! My wife and I just had #1 3 weeks ago and was wondering about that. I'll let the wife decide as its her final call if its too loud. I need to make sure she knows the difference between "Too loud" and "Annoying" because she thinks it sounds obnoxious. Then again, she has no interest in cars whatsoever.

If its modified as hell then its gonna be loud for youngsters! My 4 year daughter is literally afraid on riding one of my modified car before, too loud for her. So I have to use the other more "silent" cars for her. Which reminds me, the more comfy overall Evo GT-A is more suited for these kinds of task.

I have a GReddy Ti-C, not to be confused with the much louder and more expensive GReddy Ti.
The one I have is a typical cheap ( I think I paid 5 bills for it) steel exhaust that has a resonator and straight through muffler. It is 3". I still have my cat. The car is louder then stock but not brutal and I don't use the sound damper thing that came with it, I threw that away the first day. My kids general fall asleep in it on anything more then about a ten-fifteen minute ride. The stiff ride and some of the crappy roads around here do not phase them.

My exhaust sound which my 4 year old is afraid of is a straight pipe HKS Hi Power Ti from an SR20VET. Boost + valve lift is a li'l bit too much I guess.

My 7 year old nephew though is the opposite, asking me to go faster which I won't most of the time especially with I'm with them kids.
