I am selling my Evo because im at a grand worth of parts and labor just to change my alternator. Thanks mitsu parts for sending me a faulty alternator!!!! You convinced me i am to poor to own this car..

I tried to sell my car, but it isn't worth **** and I own it outright so I decided to keep it and build it the way I want it. Now I have so much money in i that I will probably just keep it forever.

I want a M3 to tell you the truth, but the point is, cars depreciate. No matter what car it is.
Might depreciate slow, might depreciate fast. But they all go down......
I'm just going to keep until it breaks down. I'll just keep replacing parts.
If the engine blows...... 2.3 Stroker..... *bwahahahahahaa*
I'm just going to pay mine off and enjoy it. I'll get another car later (E46 maybe) and save the Evo for my kid or something. =)

I really want to trade for 335i, M3, Lotus, IS250awd,g37x, RS4,S4
BUT dont want to spend more money than my evo.
Cant even trade for cars above without losing $
So I'm stuck with my evo forever~
I will fulfill my mind with AMS turbo kit and Voltex body in the future.

what about the fact that most people who know nothing about cars just think you are drive a piece of **** mitsubishi lancer?
as opposed to a lotus, or bmw 335 as per your other choices?

Hardly a minute goes by that i don't stress on selling my evo..
its for sale right now on the boards and I have an 06 4 door civic outside, next to my unregistered expensive evo that I don't drive.. I have this idea that i can save the cash I would get from the sale. I know this isn't true deep down and that the money and evo will be gone someday.

I created a thread similar to this thread and 1/2 the entries were people bashing me. My evo is for sale currently as well. I just think my money could be spent more wisely. I'm also getting close to 30 now. A more quiet car would be nice somedays.

I didn't sell my Evo, but I did total it. And I've considered getting something different. I still have yet to drive anything that performs better than my Evo has.
I've driven s2000's, a e36 M3, a 350Z, a 335i, WRX's, Sti's, etc. Maybe I'm biased but nothing compared to the Evo. The only car in the list I'd consider is the s2000. It has the looks, it corners like a go-cart, very moddable, can make great power with forced induction, convertable (hardtops available), etc. The things I don't like is there is NO low down power without mods. Even top end power, it's just an all around slow car. The Evo has BRUTAL acceleration. When you finally do make alot of power in an s2000, you REALLY need to be on your toes because it'll put you in a tree faster than you can even blink. Same with the handling, you go 100% and one little mistake, it'll cost you the car. You don't make any mistakes and it's AMAZING. s2000's need alot of respect.
The Evo is so forgiving... "ohh you made a mistake, and now we're hurdling towards that guardrail at 60mph... sideways? Oh no problem, let me take care of it", and you're back on the road. Though, my Evo was finally fed up with me and put me in a guardrail. Oh well, my fault, I'm an idiot, I learned from it. But I do love to forgivingness of the Evo, but then again, I kind of like the fact that the s2000 really is a DRIVERS car. You have to be on your toes to make it fast. Almost like it involves you more.
Anyway, in a few hours, I'm stopping off at a local Nissan dealer to talk to a salesman. Not about a 350Z, or 370Z, and defiantly not about a GT-R (though I'd like to), but, they have a used 2003 Evo VIII with 46k miles on her. I've already driven 3 different Evo VIII's to buy. Two I didn't like, one I did like and wanted to buy but somebody beat me to it. So I'm leaning towards another Evo. BUT Yesterday (I'm a Honda technician), I got an s2000 in for a 45k mile service. It made me want one so bad. It's the first s2000 I've driven in a few months, and I adore these cars, just not sure if I adore them enough to choose one over another Evo.
