GAP is deff a good thing to have. I get it all the time.

Also sucks this happened to you. Too bad you cant conceal carry down there. I actually didnt realize this and last time I went to Baltimore I carried just cuz I didnt trust the area.
Yeah, seeing that you are from PA you guys are already blessed that you guys can pack guns there for self defense. If you conceal carry your pistol in MD again, whatever you do just dont get caught as MD is hostile towards gun owners and doesnt recognize anyones conceal carry permits. If an officer catches you you'll be in hot water with the law...

i agree you will be in alot of trouble if not license but as you can see alot of people got unlicensed guns and if your smart you wont get caught ( damn do i sound like bad influence lol ) but there is alot of people in MD with mad guns from 9mm handguns to AKs and AR-15s

You might have considered that if an Ins company fought every battle to the teeth with their own attorney they might never even break even once subrogation was even won. Do you think attornies are cheap just becuase your buddy "hooked" you up. Grow up. Unless the vehicle in question was worth a substantial amount of money and the BI in question was in the tens of thousands and pain and suffering was involved it never makes sense to take some "moron" to court who doesn't understand that court proceedings aren't quick. Ins claims unfortunately can take a long time and only certain states (no fault states) require immediate payouts. Cry and bit** when you have to deal with what happens in a situation that millions have dealt with rather than try to understand it. You are starting to sound like and uninformed moron, yes.
Are you serious? She was hit by a guy who ran a stop sign and T-boned her with a cop two cars behind her who saw the hole thing. Regardless of what insurance he had how would they not be responsible for at least her medical bills? And I'm sorry it shouldn't take months to tell if a car is totaled or not. Especially when you say your only paying for a rental for 2 weeks.

Forgive me for protecting myself. While it's not a big deal for them to drag their feet it's a bit of pain when you're trying to figue out what you're going to do for transportation. I know what a lawyer costs. I also know that insurance companies do their best to get out of a claim as cheaply as possibly. They don't mention things like loss of value and hope people don't ask. They also hope if they drag things out long enough most people will eventually cave because they can't wait forever.

I like how you make assumptions about my knowledge and situation with out knowing anything about it. You sound like the typical only care about the bottom line and not making things right insurance *******.

I might actually hold the dealership accountable too. Lojack was in the car and they didn't inform the customer of this?

I'm sorry to hear what happened to you! Those bastards! Even if these guys DON'T have money now, you can get their wages garnished! Meaning, you will always get a percentage of their paycheck WHENEVER they start making money, hopefully after a long time in jail!

If you have ANY receipts of ANYTHING (not tune ups) done to the car, make sure the insurance company has copies of them! Like someone said here earlier, you will only get Market Value! So, any receipts you have that show 'improvements' done to your car can only help you to get more money back!

Punish those bastards as hard as you can! It might require your time investment of going to court, etc. but give these ***** the same thing they gave you! They'll think twice before they stick up a Lady again! Best of luck to you! Be strong! -Howard (A concerned Father of a Daughter who will be a future Evo owner too!)

Yeah dont carry a taser..a cop would be jacked up if he caught u with it. lol my buddy got caught with one and the cop treated it as if it was a gun.

Prolly would be more lenient with a girl but, its still illegal.

With sueing them idk how that would work. Definitely if they are underage their family would be getting sued. But idk if you sue them directly maybe an insurance company. Not sure.....just pay like the $100 or whatever to talk to an attorney and ask him these questions and he'll tell you if it would be worth it or not.

First, I am very glad to hear you're alright - material possessions are replaceable, human life is not.

Lawyer - every time, all the time. I keep one on retainer. The insurance company is not your friend, I don't give a rats *** if they rated 5 starts by every magazine. Also, sue the crap out of your attackers - they deserve to be financially destitute for the rest of their pathetic lives.

Move - I refuse to live in any socialist state where I'm not allowed to defend myself. .45 ACP is a great deterrent - and makes sure there are no repeat offenders.
