Those maintenance costs are subjective. Dealers will charge an arm and a leg for maintenance. Do it yourself (Duh, what's this forum for?) and save a lot of money.

I'm sure they could have kept the costs down on the EVO if they only changed the oil (non-synthetic) once in 14K miles (See 350Z). Or have everthing fall apart so the dealer has to kiss your *** with a free oil change (See Cobra).

Enough with the clutch already .

It's not subjective. They follow what's in the owners manual.

My point was basically to rip Mitsu dealer service.

JRock - I haven't had any problems either and I have 12,000+ miles. Still having doubts about the Evo?
