When you first saw an Evo ___ [fill in the blank], how did it feel?

First EVO sighting I thought "I could see myself driving that but..."
I had a 99GSX that I'd dumped a gob of $ into it and liked it to.
Fast forward 7 years and some drunk totaled my GSX, so the next logical progression was to purchase the LAST 4g63 IMO. Its so amazing how much Mitsu progressed every aspect of that car, the EVO IXs. My eclipse would have taken more $ than I spent on the EVO to even come close to that performance. I still love the looks of the 2gb eclipse though and may have to pick up another someday, to go along with the EVO that is!

First time I ever heard about an EVO was in a 2003 Road and Track EVO VS STi comparison article.. I was just astonished at the performance. First time I had EVER seen on in person was in late 2004, pulled up to a stop light (mind this is my first 500 feet of test driving an 04 SRT-4 lol) Few blips of the throttle and you can figure out what happened next
I ended up buying the SRT-4 because it was all that I could afford at the time. 2 years later took an 04 EVO for a spin at an auto x. 2 months later I bought my first EVO VIII, from that moment on it was just hook line and sinker. Now I'm on my second EVO and still to this day brings a smile to my face every time I look at the car.

I always wanted one then I turned around and brought one. I thought about it for a long time and finally now I have one never told a soul about it though for fear of jealousy.

jizzed in my pants when I saw it finally came stateside as the Evo 8. That happened on a daily basis when I got my 9. When I look at the X there are a few nostalgic pieces like the large spoiler which get me fired up in the same way. But, it's the driving experience that this car is all about.
