Need Solution For Bumper

So I have an VIII with a stock bumper, and won't have any kind of money anytime soon for an aftermarket one. It has the front plate which they attached by drilling into the bumper in the usual place next to the intercooler. If I take the plate off, theres a fat hole in that part of the bumper and I need a cheap way to plug it (car is weightless white).

I know the laws and I still want it off. I am willing to risk a front plate fix-it ticket for the benefit of how the vehicle looks. The front plate is just too unnatural

I've seen pictures of evo's with good patches, how did you guys solve this?

Post a picture of your holes and we'll try to give you some ideas. When I have problems like this, I just wander the local Home Depot and usually end up with a pretty good solution.

Home depot + vinyls = win.

Get something to plug up the hole with for the most part (unless it is a fairly small hole) and then buy some vinyls or use touchup paint and cover it up! Simple as that.

Thanks for this link.. Seems like a very good option!

OP: I would do these bumperplugs.com ones or do a rubber plug plus vinyl overlay like people do on the wingless evo's
