How many TME RS's did Mitsubishi officailly produce?

I'm looking to buy one while I'm stationed in Japan. I would like to know how many were produced by Mitsubishi or where I could find this information. I am looking to take one back to the US with me after my enlistment is up in Japan, and would need official manufacturers production #s for one the avenue I would be trying for legal importation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

He is asking about the Evo VI TME. There was no there model of TME produced. Anyways you probably need to get in touch with Mitsubishi Consumer Relations. If you know any or work with any local nationals have them call to get the info. It will take a few calls to get to the right office but other then that yeah. It might also be in an Evo specific book like HyperRev's Evo Bible edition. You can order the book at any book store.

tme stands for "Tomi Makkinen Edition".

Your best bet is to ask on lancerregister.com

the TME is basically an evo 6.5 to commemorate Tommi Makinen three driver's WRC win and also 1 manufacturer win for Mitsubishi. It was available both in Japan and the UK. It is not a limited or numbered vehicle since it came in different colors of red, white and black.

The limited production evo's would be the ones produced by ralliart-uk. The evo 6 zero fighter, evo 6 extreme and evo RS450(?).

Yeah, this is going to be your best bet to find that information. I've always wanted a TME RS!!! I think this RS version only comes in White.

I'm just trying to imagine a name like that would go over like a lead balloon in this country, but I am surprised it is acceptable in the U.K.

They dropped the name on the VII and VIII models

here is how they started building "extreme" evo's for Colt Car Company of UK before the latter started building their own, now known as "FQ" versions.

Does anyone have an email address for Mitsubishi Motors PR or any Mitsubishi Motors emails so I can get refered to someone that can help. BTW if anyone cares to know I seem to have found the total number of TME's produced is 3425.

that must be the control arm recall. Some evos 5 and 6 also had a AYC ECU recall FIY.
