Noise in cabin

if i turn my radio off and my air off and i slowly build boost i hear a n odd sound almost like someone is hitting 2 lincon logs together it is very quiet, it is never consistant but it is in the 2000, 3000 rpm range in every gear, it is wierd, it is almost like it does it at a certain point of where the throttle is positioned, i only have a recirc BOV a perrin delete pipe without the cel fix and a jic cat back exhaust, could anybody tell me whats up?

Sounds like detination to me. Anyone else have any input on this? I would take your car into the dealer ASAP! Make sure you have them drive it while you are in the car and vise versa so you can point it out to them. Don't let them just write it off as nothing.

it is soo quiet though i can barely hear it ever. i didnt notice until yesterday and it only did it every once in a while. i highly doubt that this is detenation. the car on the other hand runs perfect

I have it too, it's NOT detonation. It's been there since the car was new, and it most definately sounds like Lincoln Logs hitting together!

hey i would take it to a dealership or somewhere and have them tak a look if it is really bothering you and dont let them give you crap about it. I hate dealership people.

Does it correspond to engine pitch? Does it sound rhythmic? Is it related to bumps/body movement?

No, no, and no. There is nothing the car is doing that seems to relate. Does it in all gears, accelerating or coasting, turning or going straight, hauling *** or cruising, smooth road or bumpy. The only time I don't hear it is when I'm sitting still.
