Nasty Evolution

Was out last night and while just crusing the CEL came on, engine seemed to loose a bit of power (changed sound pitch slightly also), then about 5 sec later CEL went off and engine picked up to normal. Did this several times on a 10 minute drive. Went to check the CEL on EVOSCAN and there were not DTEC's.

Took the car out a few hours later for a beat run and to drive home, no issues at all. Is there any suggestions to figure out what that CEL was coming on for?

No idea what it could be but you can only get a CEL error when the CEL is actually on, not when it disappears.

this is just a wild guess... check your ECU fuse under the hood

I'll check that fuse, thanks for the tip.
Now to figure out how else I can actually see what it throwing this CEL if it's not a fuse.

use a obd scanner thing from autozone it should be free maybe that will pick something up

the code should still be pending if it pops on and off which is still weird but if you go to pep boys or autozone theyll scan it for free

I was thinking the same thing. 54k original wires as far as I know.
