Hey All,

I would like to purchase an after market alarm system for my Evo 8. When I bought the car, it came with a Viper Alarm System but for some reason it always dies after a month with a new battery in the alarm remote, therefore it just about always doesn't work. The battery has been replaced numerous times and I don't feel like dealing with it and am afraid it may cost more $ to diagnose and fix than it would be to just buy a new alarm system.

I would like to know what is the best bang for the buck. I understand that our Recaro seats are a diamond in the thiefs eyes and I would like to limit this from happening to me by buying an upgraded, premium alarm system.

Let me know what you guys recommend, the prices, and even if you could be so kind as to post a direct link to the exact alarm system you are talking about, that would be great!
