Any one Tried the RS trunk springs for their CF Trunk?? If not, what are people using
Hi guys-
I have a CF trunk and I took out the 2 spring rods that allow the trunk to spring up because it doesn't have a wing now and the cf trunk just springs up really fast.. so now the trunk just pops and I have to manually hold it up every time.. Any solutions to this? I would think the RS would have a different spring setup since it doesn't have the wing.. I realize I could make a prop rod, but really didn't want to have to do that.. Please let me know the solutions you guys are using since there is a lot of CF trunks out there, thanks!!

I know they install like stock, but how'd you get them on there? There's a tool you can use, but it's a Mitsu part number and it's over $100.
I tried everything from screwdrivers to vise grips and nothing seems to get enough torque to twist the bars around the brackets...
A how to would be helpful.
