Mine was doing the EXACT same thing when my clutch was going!! It was so bad I would struggle for minutes to get it into reverse!!! I mean are your rpms jumping when you get on the gas????

clutch slippage. Like spining your tires in an integra or something in the rain. U go to take off but your rpms go high because your wheels are spinning. Clutch slippage feels similar. When u let the clutch out, your rpms will go higher than it seems like your car is moving because its slipping. kind of like holding the clutch halfway inand giving it gas. Your rpms go up but u dont go as fast as you would expect.

Ok guys, I finally put the new fluid in last night. Car drives some much better by the way. I highly recommend Amsoil!

Unfortunately, the car is not completely better. Its still a little rough going into reverse and first. It's definitly a lot better then it was but it not fully cured. Im going to try adjusting the clutch pedal tonight. Hope this one works.

My reverse is also hard to engage, what I always do is to let off the clutch and put it back in.

This happened at an autox event after a loss of traction event?
This could put your pedal out of adjustment...how? If it were a gradual change maybe, but not the way you described.
Better check the TOB and clutch assy.
