Perrin- Any Comments?

I've read in some other forums some complaints about Perrin. I was wondering what you guys have to say? I have the Cobb ap for my evo ix, and the numbers for perrins maps for the cobb ap look really good. I already trust cobb, but i dont know about perrin?

Perrin makes quality products. The only thing from them that I haven't liked is their rear swaybar endlinks for my fiancee's WRX b/c they were clunky over bumps. I have a few of their things on my car and my fiancee's WRX. Their air filter won the air filter shootout and made the most power.

IMO ditch the Cobb AP though and just use ECUFlash since its free and will be tuned for your exact car and mods, not just some generic map.

I have the Perrin intake and no complaints here. My cousin has the stealth exhaust installed on his evo and so far so good.

i think perrin is overpriced imo.. i ran an APS built wrx (little pricey too), and also ran a perrin rotate kit on an sti.

personally i'm running AMS stuff on my evo.

all i can say about price is you pay for what you get. so not to contradict myself i'd say do whatever you want just make it quality!

well i have perrin

oil catch can
Chrome Fuse cover
3" downpipe

Fitment and quality perfect Love there products now if i can find a Perrin Fuel rail I would buy it. IF not the only ams parts that might make it to my evo are there fuel rail and hose kit for it and there oil cooler. I think ams personally is over priced but hey cant say they dont at least sell some quality products

btw APS makes some serious parts with great results i have there intercooler and twin vent bov. I think everybody can agree the twin vent bov is a beast nuff said

i keep hearing great things about that aps twin vent.. is it a recirc and a vta?
fill me in on that, the one thing lacking in my soon to be completed set up is a quality bov that won't have vta/ idle/ drivability issues, that isn't too flashy sounding, and wont leak high boost.

btw i'll have to check out that perrin intake

I recently ordered the rear sway bar setup for my evo 8, not looking at the box only the shipping ticket it said evo 8-9 rear sway bar, I took off my old sway bar only to find out they sent me the evo x sway bar.
they did apologize for *ucking up my order if that counts.
quality looks great.

Keep your stock IX/MR BOV. If it begins to leak under high-boost just crush it a bit until it doesn't.

I got the Perrin rear swaybar because it came with the new mounts (their "Stout-Mount" pieces). It is a good quality product, was easy to install, and has worked well.
