Factory Intercooler has Cusco on the front

Factory Intercooler has Cusco on the front

My wife and I pulled up and opened the garage.....never noticed it before but U saw Cusco faintly on the fins.....is the factory intercooler made by Cusco. Just curious

Factory bit is a Toyo. At least that is my experience. Radiator is Calsonic.

Sounds like the previous owner painted it.

Its so faint you can barely see it.....I certainly have never noticed it during the daylight. If someone was going to paint it they would more then likely make it visible. I'll take a pic and post so you guys can see it.

Not necessarily. Some folks prefer a more subtle approach. For example, I had the top of my Buschur FMIC painted to look like stock.

Well either way....painting a decal faintly of a part tha tisn't real is lame. Like buying rota's and putting Volk decals on the wheel.

They probably tried stripping the paint off before selling the car...or after realizing how ghey it made them look. There is a guy local to me who painted the AMS logo on his stock FMIC, and another guy who painted his stock front strut brace gold and slapped an ARC sticker on it.

They made intercooler hardpipes for Silvias and whatnot, but never actual intercoolers.
