The worst day of my life today

Stay safe. I'm not surprised the cop tried to blame it on you. Same **** happened to me when I was younger and someone ran a red light, totaling the Mustang I had at the time.
Stay safe, bee glad you're in one piece, and get a lawyer. Then sue the pants off the guy.
The crazy thing is, if the people try saying you were speeding, that would also mean that the vehicle you were pushed into was also speeding. And I am damn sure they wont own up to it (even if they were)

Photos are just sickeng! I'm so sorry! I'm glad you and your passenger will be okay! I'm sure that they measured skid marks, etc. and that wil prove you were in the RIGHT! Don't give up! You'll get another Evo! Just work things out first! It is important that you produce any and ALL receipts for anything you have done to your car! My sympathies and regards!

when air bag deploys, records last five seconds of certian data list items, engine load, throttle position, brake switch on/off, vehicle speed. i also did a search and yes your evo has one. mitsubishi has been volutarily building them in all of their cars since 2005. hope your speed was correct

That's horrible. I hope you make it through everything. I have had my fair share of experiences with ignorant douchebag people and cops. I could be going 15 mph in my Evo and people will tell me to slow down. I hate that they think we are always at fault just because we drive fast cars.
