i'm perfectly happy with my 3" ams exhaust, but i don't build around looks or sound.. i prefer function over form for what i build.
although nothing will replace the insanely loud hi-pitched whine my blower gave off on my 03 cobra with it's loud azz o/r 3" midpipe to 3" borla stinger catback (no muffler's)

I might try an open wastegate but more importantly I'll switch out my HKS. It's actually just a HKS canister, the rest was replaced with a full 3 inch pipe and removed resonator.
Someone mentioned the exhaust note changing as the rev's climb
. That's one of my complaints. The car doesn't exhibit any difference in sound, it's monotone almost with the exhaust I have on.

I've always liked the way inline 6's sound Bimmer's, Lexus's. I like the way hemi's sound uncorked as well.
I'm ok with my hamsters.
