^hey sorry to bump this up.
i recently bought a set of remote and key. they are the same ones found on ebay. i was able to program the remote sucessfully. i havent had the key cut just yet.
can anyone tell me how to "program" the new $15 ebay key with transponder without calling locksmith?
edit: actually, nvm. i found a locksmith. hopefully they dont rape my wallet.

any diffrence from the ones listed as ID4D or 8D4D ? edit never mind just going to go with the 8d4d since thats what you listed i dont think there is any diffrence tho.

Can you not program the key yourself? When i bought my car it only had 1 key with it and I am going to install an alarm and remote start and have to have a extra key for that also. If I can get out of pay to get it programed that would be sweet.
